「The 1st KTN Video Contest」

KTN Video Contest is held by the only Korean broadcast station in eastern south, KTN, and Korean Education Center in Atlanta, Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Atlanta, using “Korean friend, Han-geul, Korean food” as theme.

l Date: June 15, 2019

l Place: KTN Ballroom, 4675 River Green Pkwy, Duluth, GA 30096

l Theme

o Pick more than one of these: Korean friend / Han-geul / Korean Food

o Must include 「The 1st KTN Video Contest」 in video title or credit

l Apply qualification: everyone (no limits in country and age)

l How to apply: upload the entry on your YouTube channel, and share the link to contest@ktnatlanta.com
l Entry standard:

o Form: any video filmed after April 1, 2019

o Duration: 5 min.

o Language: English or Korean (you may use both)

o Team: individual or group

o Entry quantity: only 1 video per individual or group

l Schedule:

o Entry period: May 15 – 31, 2019

o Preliminary round: 6pm on June 1 – June 10, 2019

o Final round announcement: 12pm on June 11, 2019

o Final round judge & ceremony:: June 15, 2019

l Judging criteria

o Preliminary round

· Final round 5 entries selection

· Selection Process: KTN PD judges score + KTN web score (adding up video views after 6pm on May 28 and the numbers of peach and comment)

o Final round

· Announce 2 Popularity awards

· Screening 3 entries (1st to 3rd awards)

· Ranking determine process: KTN PD judges score + KTN web vote score(Top left of KTN web) + KTN video contest on-site poll score

l Award Ceremony

o 1st prize (1): KTN award with $500

o 2nd prize (1): Atlanta Korean Education Center award with $300

o 3rd prize (1): $200

o Popularity award: certificate of award

* Winners supposed to participate to receive prizes. If winners can’t participate to award ceremony, prepare substitute beforehand to receive the prize.

l Note

o Website peaches, comments, vote etc. if we find same ip for supports, there will be a penalty.

o Previous, commercial use, awarded, illegitimacy entries will be ruled out during judging process, and if any of those is find out later, the award will be deprived.

o KTN reserves the right to use submitted videos on the KTN website and in other promotions, including but not limited to the KTN channel on YouTube and the KTN air channel

o Content must comply with all local and national laws of the country of origin and the United States. Content must not 1) promote illegal behavior; 2) support racial, religious, sexual or other invidious prejudice; 3) advocate sexual or violent exploitation; 4) violate rights established by law or agreement; 5) invade the privacy of any person; or 6) be otherwise inappropriate as determined by KTN in its sole and conclusive determination. If there is any issue, the entrant takes all the responsibility.
